We have been married for over a decade now! How time flies... We met as we both were serving in the youth group at our church. We share a passion for helping teenagers and leading them towards Christ. 

Over the last 10+ years of our marriage we have continued to serve in the youth group. We had the pleasure of housing multiple teenagers and adopting one ourselves in a very untraditional way. We now have a son of our own and look forward to raising him up to be a great leader and follower of Christ.

MEAGAN

I began serving in youth ministry as a teenager and am still fulfilling my calling. I have a passion for helping teens through life and pointing them towards Jesus. For my career, I even work with teenagers as a Middle School teacher!

My favorite part of serving in youth ministry is seeing the students step up and take positions in serving on teams like the altar team, worship team, and other ministries around the church. I also enjoy helping other adults become great youth leaders and this online ministry is another avenue to do just that.

Don't give up on teenagers. They are the future leaders of our churches, government, and world!

JAMES

I've been serving in various capacities in youth ministry since 2008. I've served in areas such as math tutoring, helping with audio/visual equipment, and leading teams of youth and adults. I love fulfilling my calling and hope to help others reach their full potential in youth ministry.

My favorite part of serving in youth ministry is watching and helping teenagers grow into leaders and serve in the church, themselves.

Serving in youth ministry has been such a blessing in my life. It is not only my calling, but it is where I met my gorgeous wife and wonderful daughter. 

OUR FAMILY

Years ago we had the beautiful opportunity to take in and "adopt" a teenager from Oneighty (our youth group). That is a long story, and I'm sure we will share it sometime.

Makayla has brought so much joy into our lives. We had to opportunity to watch her grow from a broken, hurting teenager, longing for someone to love and care for her, to an inspiring, wise woman of God with a passion to show others the love of Jesus that she once longed for. 

Now, she is married to an awesome man of God, Miguel, and they have the most beautiful daughter on the planet named Mazel! We love our little makeshift family that only God could put together! 

We also recently had a son of our own who we pray will grow up to become a great man of God with his own dreams and leadership skills. His name is Maddox.
